Yet a colleague of Albert Einstein, John Wheeler, who study in the same time as Albert Einstein…using the same type of equipment and seeing the same things Albert Einstein saw brought him to his understanding which came to a very different conclusion…John Wheeler said…
‘We could not even imagine a universe that did not contain observers (us) because the very building blocks of the universe are the acts of us observing the universe. We are part of a universe that is a work in progress…’
It was John Wheeler who coined the phrase a “Participatory Universe” which really means just by the mere fact of what we see, what we feel and what we believe changes the universe around us. Scientist are constantly looking for the smallest partial of matter or trying to find the edge of the universe, but in actuality they may never find this because of us living in the participatory universe, which in essence means as we participate things change.
Therefore, looking for the smallest partial of matter there continues to be smaller ones or if you look for the edge of the universe because you are looking at it, it expands. Bottom line is the simple act of looking for something expecting something to be there in fact create something there or saying it another way because we are creators in a participatory universe as we look for something expecting it to be there things are created. Wow that is some heavy stuff but I think you get it…yes?
So if that’s true and they have scientifically proven it is…what does this mean when you are looking at your body, or looking at or thinking about something you plan to do, or looking at your next trip. What I can tell you is if you’re expecting to see what’s wrong…will you see abnormalities in your body…will you see things going wrong in your plans…the answer is emphatically yes! Probably the real question or most important question is why the hell we would look for the negative side of things expecting the worst.
Let’s take this just a bit deeper in that it’s not about the simple act of looking, but rather your consciousness while you are looking that truly matters. Think about this for a minute…this is a renowned scientist saying our consciousness is creating our universe….wow! So if our consciousness mixed with feelings are creating the things in our life, then what do we feel…and what are we conscious about within our world. New discoveries suggest the power to change our bodies and our world is based upon our belief of what is real. I’m sure you find it quite easy to believe we live our lives based upon what we believe or perceive as real.
